SMEs Cautioned Against Websites Misusing SPRING’s Logo and Name

6 Apr , 2015

1. It has come to the attention of SPRING Singapore that our logo and name have been misused on a website (www.singaporegrants.com) which claims to offer the Innovation & Capability Voucher (ICV) to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). In addition, electronic direct mailers with “Spring Singapore” as the email sender name have been sent out to many SMEs, directing them to this website.

2. SPRING would like to clarify that we are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, this website or the services it provides. The use of our logo and name without permission is unauthorised, and we will not hesitate to take the necessary action to protect our SMEs against entities that adopt such misleading marketing tactics.

3. We have noted in recent weeks that a number of service providers are misleading SMEs to believe that they can apply for ICV through their websites (e.g. www.icvvoucher.com). SMEs are strongly advised to exercise caution when approached by any service provider that claims to be supported by SPRING.

4. SMEs may verify the authenticity of such claims by contacting EnterpriseOne at 6898 1800 or enterpriseone@spring.gov.sg. SMEs which require assistance in applying for ICV can approach EnterpriseOne or any of the SME Centres.
